Little pump with alot of power, September 23, 2009 Amazon Verified Purchase This pump does not come with the hoses and filtering system necesarry to fully set up the system. On the other hand, it runs great and is very very quite. Not recommending you buy this pump for large ponds.

I've owned about 15 pumps over the years, January 8, 2012 This review is from: Laguna Max-Flo 900 Waterfall & Filter Pump (Misc.) As a professional water wheel builder ([...]) I'm always working with pumps. This is the pump I recomend for low maintence to my customers, My old pumps needed the screen cleaned 30 times a year but this pump doesn't plug up and only needs to be cleaned 2 or 3 times a year. I currently run two of these pumps in my pond. 5 stars.

I have used Laguna pumps for over 5 years . They pump the most water with the lowest wattage of any pump I have found. Laguna tech support is, in my opinion, terrible. I have never been able to talk to anyone who knows much of anything about the pumps.
